Two Moms. Two Photographers. One Beautiful Story.

We’re two moms from Newcastle, KZN, who never imagined that our daughters’ beautiful friendship would lead to something so special of our own.

What started with our gorgeous daughters becoming friends quickly turned into a friendship, a shared passion, and eventually a business partnership. We soon discovered just how like-minded, creative and driven by photography we both are — and from that, Orchid & Oak Photography was born.

We still can’t quite believe how quickly this little dream has grown into something we are so incredibly proud of.

For us, photography is about so much more than taking beautiful pictures. It’s about people, connection, emotion and the little moments that make life so special. We love meeting new people, hearing your stories and being trusted to capture the moments you never want to forget.

Our goal is to create photographs and films that feel authentic, timeless and true to you — images that take you right back to how it felt in that moment, even years from now.

We feel incredibly lucky to do what we love, together, and to have the opportunity to become part of so many beautiful stories along the way.
